Flash Firmware
To flash the firmware for secondary development into the control box, follow the steps below to set the control box to download mode.
Before flashing, please loosen the screws on both sides of the control box cover, remove the top cover with the pattern, and expose the motherboard.
● V4 Pro Version
①Flash Onstep Firmware（ESP32）
No need to make any settings on the motherboard, plug in a 12V power supply, and connect the control box to the computer using a USB cable. Press the buttons on the motherboard in the following order to enter download mode.
- Press and hold the ESP32 button
- Press the EN button once
- Release ESP32 button
At this point, the motherboard is already in download mode. In Arduino, select the ESP32 development board as shown in the picture and choose the corresponding serial port number for the motherboard (CH340 serial port driver needs to be installed in advance).
Click to upload. After waiting for the download to complete, power off and restart the device.

②Flash WIFI Firmware（ESP8266）
First set the jumper cap when power-off , then plug in 12V power supply and connect the control box to the computer using a USB cable. Press the buttons on the motherboard in the following order to enter download mode.
- Press and hold the ESP8266 button
- Press the EN button once
- Release ESP8266 button
At this point, the motherboard is already in download mode. In Arduino, select the ESP8266 development board as shown in the picture and choose the corresponding serial port number for the motherboard (CH340 serial port driver needs to be installed in advance).
Click to upload. After waiting for the download to complete, power off to restore the jumper cap and restart the device.
