Restore Firmware
If the program encounters an exception or fails to burn new firmware during use, it needs to be restored to its initial state. Follow the steps below to restore.
Before restoring, please loosen the screws on both sides of the control box cover, remove the patterned top cover.
● V4 Pro Version
①Restore Onstep Firmware(ESP32)
Download the files required for recovery Click to visit download center

No need to make any settings on the motherboard, plug in a 12V power supply, and connect the control box to the computer using a USB cable. Press the buttons on the motherboard in the following order to enter download mode.
- Press and hold the ESP32 button
- Press the EN button once
- Release ESP32 button

Open the firmware Restore Tool and click the button as shown in the figure to enter the software interface.

① Select SPIDownload page
② Select the corresponding version of firmware in the firmware restoration package, as shown in the picture for the restored firmware of EQ3D V4 Pro. Check the box at the beginning and fill in the number 0 at the end
③ Set as shown in the figure
④ Select the corresponding serial port for Onstep. If the selection is incorrect, the download will not be possible
⑤ Click Start to start downloading, wait for the progress bar to finish
After the download is complete, disconnect the power and restart the device.

② Restore WIFI Firmware(ESP8266)
Download the files required for recovery Click to visit download center

First set the jumper cap when power-off , then plug in 12V power supply and connect the control box to the computer using a USB cable. Press the buttons on the motherboard in the following order to enter download mode.
- Press and hold the ESP8266 button
- Press the EN button once
- Release ESP8266 button

Open the firmware restoration tool and enter the software interface as shown in the settings.

① Select SPIDownload page
② Select the firmware in the corresponding language in the firmware restoration package, as shown in the picture for Chinese firmware. Check the box at the beginning and fill in 0x0 at the end.
③ Set as shown in the figure
④ Select the corresponding serial port for Onstep. If the selection is incorrect, the download will not be possible
⑤ Click Start to start downloading, wait for the progress bar to finish
After the download is complete, disconnect the power, restore the jumper cap to its original state, and then power on and restart.

● V4 Lite Version
①Restore Onstep Firmware(ESP32)

- Press and hold the ESP32 button

⑤ Click Start to start downloading, wait for the progress bar to finish
